Just because there is no baking doesn't mean there is no mess!





and as a side note - Cameron regularly wanders around with only one shoe on. I don't know how it doesn't bother him.

Out of practice

I am not so hot at blogging these days. Maybe I can attribute that to the fact that I really haven't been so hot at taking pictures. And maybe I can attribute that to the fact that I haven't been so hot at remembering to bring my camera along with me. And maybe I can attribute that to the fact that I haven't been so hot at having a brain that works. And I'm pretty sure I can attribute that to the 5 little lovelies that I call my children. But at one point in time, I remembered to bring a camera along with us on a trip to the mountains where I remembered to take some pictures. And I am remembering to blog about it. I am awesome. And hot.

And so here is a recap of that blessed day.

The kids found some safe pockets of water along the river where they could play



Rex was cute and sat on a blanket in the shade



I learned that Matt is fully capable of taking Rex along with him on all future fishing trips



The kids climbed up this little rock hill



And surrendered themselves to my every demand



Matt caught a fish
