Cheering on the Rapids
It's pretty nice to go out on the town (or to a soccer field) with Matt. We are trying to make those date nights more of a priority so here we are prioritizing:
This date served as part one of our anniversary celebration. We plan to go out to dinner sometime soon for part two.

Sock Hop 2012
Our school holds a good old fashioned Sock Hop every spring and luckily, I got to accompany the younger 4 all by myself this year. Like usual, Cameron hung out in the cake walk room until he won, Howie was chased by girls and Nina danced her heart away. Rex wanted to crawl all around the floor and I was wondering when that little boy would ever start to walk.

The Great Easter Hunt
Adam and Jill have the ideal house for our annual Easter Egg/Basket Hunt. The acres of land, the chickens, and ham and potatoes - nothing beats it. So we stuffed ourselves full of delicious food and then waited for the Easter Bunnies to do their thing. When all was ready, the kids dashed outside, plastic Walmart bags in hand, and hunted for eggs and baskets.
Rex was in a delightful mood and searched high and low for his basket. Or something like that.
I didn't see Donovan during the hunt, but he sure came back with a full bag. He was also able to find his basket. I think the Easter Bunny needs to make Donovan work harder next year.
Howie went after his basket first which made finding eggs more of a challenge. He was eventually able to find his 15 eggs, but with the help of his hot mama.
Cameron was as cute and as excited as could be. I stayed near him the whole time and enjoyed his reactions. He accidentally got more eggs than he was supposed to, so he decided to "make a jackpot" for an unsuspecting cousin and made a small pile of eggs.
I didn't see Nina as she searched for eggs, but I saw her get all upset that her basket was too high to reach. We couldn't get her to smile for a picture until we bribed her with something. I can't remember what, but it worked.
While we were together we celebrated the April and May birthdays. That made Cameron happy. He loved his Star Wars squinkies and treats. Thanks peeps!
And I made all the other parents happy by giving their kids these:

Pucker Up!
Patty, my hero, made our kids a cute little basket full of toys and goodies. I didn't get a picture of it because they tore into it as soon as they saw it. But Patty forgot to put these yummy treats in the basket so she stopped by to give them to us today. The kids thought they were hilarious. Don't you just want to kiss those rabbitty lips?!
And then to make things cuter and sweeter, she also included a plate of these:
