Happy Father's Day Matt! The kids and I love you and think you are the best dad they could ever have. I was curious about how well your kids know you, so I asked them a few questions...



How do you make dad laugh?
D- I tell him funny jokes
H- He never laughs
N- I do something good

D- 50 inches

N- 5 inches





What is dad's favorite food?
D- Chinese food
H- Cheesy bean and rice tacos
N- Spaghetti



What is something dad always says to you?
D- He says sorry when he hurts me
H- I love you
N- Go to sleep




What does dad do when you're not around?
D- Goes fishing
H- Plays the Wii
N- He doesn't give me a hug



What makes you proud of dad?
D- When his teams win games
H- When he scores 6 goals
N- That he gives me kisses and hugs





How old is dad?
D- 32
H- 50
N- 5



What is dad's job?
D- Teaching spanish
H- Going to school
N- Getting money for mom




What does dad like about mom?
D- That she's pretty
H- She's nice
N- That she hugs you



How does dad make you laugh?
D- When he tries to pick up the whole entire tv set
H- Making funny noises and doing silly things
N- He does funny tricks



What makes dad sad?
D- When we say we hate him
H- Not doing good things
N- When I say I hate you dad



What is dad's favorite tv show?
D- Pokemon
H- Soccer
N- PBS



What is dad's favorite thing to do?
D- Go fishing
H- Fish
N- Kiss and hug



What do you and dad do together?
D- Go fishing and have Pokemon battles
H- Play soccer outside
N- Watch tv



What makes dad happy?
D- When we make him his favorite dinner and give him 199 fishing tickets
H- Doing things that are right
N- I obey him



What is dad's least favorite food?
D- Poop and pee
H- Poop- he likes everything else
N- Chicken



What is dad really good at?
D- Fishing and fixing stuff
H- Guitar Hero
N- Puzzles, but not Donovan and Howie's because they are too hard



What is something that dad is not very good at?
D- Breaking the house
H- Cartwheels, he doesn't even know how to do 1
N- Playing something



How are you and dad the same?
D- We both like to buy fishing bait and we sort of like the same foods
H- We both like soccer
N- We can both sing Jingle Bells




What was dad like when he was a little boy?
D- He was a little guy like me
H- How in the heck do I know? I didn't usually see him.
N- Grandpa made him laugh




What does mom like about dad?
D- That he helps the kids
H- How do I know?
N- That he will play with you your whole life




How are you and dad different?
D- Daddy's taller than I am
H- He likes potatoes and I totally hate them
N- We don't sleep in the same room





How do you know that dad loves you?
D- Because he really cares about me
H- He pays for things for me
N- He made my bee sting better

Nina was right on when she said he works to get money for you.

And how in the heck should Howie know what Matt was like when he was a kid--he usually wasn't around.

That was the best thing that I have read in a long time. Thanks for the laughs (and laughs and laughs) today! The boys asked me if looking at pictures made me sad because I had so many tears in my eyes. I told them they were tears of joy from reading what Donovan, Howie, and Nina say!
